Tata Group's company, Voltas, reported impressive results just after the market closed, with a profit increase of 265%, reaching ₹134 crores. In the corresponding quarter last year, the company had profit of ₹37res.

According to an exchange filing, Voltas achieved a consolidated profit of ₹133.99 crores for the second quarter ending in September. This is a significant from the ₹37 crores recorded in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. Moreover, the operating profit surged from ₹70 crores to ₹162 crores, while the margin improved from 3.1% to 6.19%.

Voltas also indicated that there was a year-on-year increase in the company's consolidated revenue. The consolidated revenue for the same quarter last year was ₹2,293 crores, which rose to ₹2,619 crores in this year's second quarter.
