Rapido Service in Chennai: A user in Chennai has asserted that a driver associated with Rapido demanded ₹1000 for a journey of 21 kilometers, despite the app indicating a fare of ₹350. The user claims that the driver justified the exorbitant charge by citing waterlogging issues.

Ashok Raj Rajendran, founder and CEO of Aje Skill Development Academy, mentioned that the Rapido driver initially requested ₹1000 for the 21 km ride, while the app only displayed ₹350. The situation escalated when he complained about the extra charges, and the company apparently "closed the chat."
